ABOUT MRCHESI DI BAROLO: BAROLO RISERVA

Barolo Riserva. This lovely wine comes from a World famous Italian quality producer: Marchesi di Barolo in Pedmonte, Northern Italy. Wine is a flagship product of the Producer and made of of 100% Nebbiolo grapes. They come from the best vineyards belonging to the Marchesi of Barolo. Grapes were handpicked with a low yield, after being removed fron the stalks they were softly pressed. Wine is aged for one year in Slavonian oak casks then an additional year in French oak casks of 450 liters. The Barolo wine is aged in bottles for additional 3 yrs minimum before they are released.

Deep ruby red in color, an intense rose bouquet with scents of licorice and spices. Full bodied, austere, yet a elegant wine. Rich, dry and deep in flavor. Barolo is an excellent accompaniment to red meats and spicy cheeses.
